Steve is a retired schoolteacher who lives in the San Joaquin Valley in Central California. He particularly seeks patterns or texture, contrasts, or color in visual art. He also looks for contrasts between man-made items and nature. Some of his favorite topics are: his grandchildren, sunsets and clouds, foliage and flowers, antique motor vehicles, stonework and buildings, lamps--particularly outdoor fixtures, and wide-scope nature scenes.

Steve now works with digital equipment--he leans towards Canon equipment. As he is always on a learning curve, he invites and welcomes all manner of critique, comments, and correspondence on his work. Yes, please submit comments and critique the images.

Steve's images capture moments, and having done that, display their beauty�whether spiritual, emotional, or visual. Some will see a different aspect of that beauty than the artist saw; some will see the same. Others may not see the beauty at all. Above the artistic elements in images, Steve seeks and exhibits images that display the glory of God�as He is the source of all beauty and all of mankind's skills and talents [Ps 19.1].
